Noalhat is a French municipality with 247 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Thiers and the canton of Maringues (until 2015 Châteldon ).

geography

Noalhat is located about 28 kilometers south of Vichy and about 29 kilometers east-northeast of Clermont-Ferrand on the Dore , which borders the municipality in the west. Noalhat is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Paslières in the north and east, Dorat in the south and east, Crevant-Laveine in the west and south-west and Vinzelles in the west and north-west.
