Federico Crescentini (born April 13, 1982 - December 15, 2006 in Acapulco ) was a San Marinese football player .

Crescentini was a defensive player at the club SP Tre Fiori . Since 2002 he has played eight international matches for his country's national team . His uncle Giorgio is the president of the San Marino Football Association (FSGC).

At the age of 24, Crescentini drowned while on a diving vacation in Acapulco, Mexico . In a successful attempt to save his girlfriend from drowning, he was aborted himself and only later found dead. He was posthumously awarded the Order of San Marino , the highest civil and military order in San Marino. Speaking on the death of Crescentini, Fiorenzo Stolfi , State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Economic Planning in San Marino said:

A short and beautiful life that has given us all a lot. His willingness to make sacrifices, his courage are a role model for the younger generation. "

The FC Fiorentino stadium has been named after him since 2008 .
