Fedor Poppe
Fedor Poppe (born April 27, 1850 in Neisse , † 1914 in Berlin ) was a German portrait, genre and landscape painter.
After studying at the Prussian Art Academy in Berlin, he continued his studies from October 18, 1873 at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich with Otto Seitz . After a stay in Paris , he returned to Berlin to study again at the Prussian Academy of Arts with Karl Gussow and in Anton von Werner's master studio .
Poppe went on a study trip to Italy in 1883 and then settled in Berlin, where he worked as a freelance artist. He dealt with portrait, genre and landscape painting.
