Fedoriwka ( Ukrainian Федорівка ; Russian Фёдоровка Fjodorowka ) is a village in the east of the Ukrainian Oblast of Zaporizhia with about 2200 inhabitants (2004).

history

The village was founded in 1779 with the name Burlazkaya ( Бурлацкая ). In 1822 the village was renamed Fjodorowka and in 1925 Vlasovka ( Власовка ). In 1938, the village was named back in Fjodorowka / Fedoriwka, between 1960 and May 19, 2016 was the place the name Tschubariwka (Ukrainian Чубарівка; Russian Чубаревка / Tschubarewka ) after the locally born Soviet politician and member of the Politburo of the CPSU Vlas Chubar ( 1891-1939), in the course of the decommunization of the Ukraine, the place got its old name Fedoriwka back.

Fedoriwka forms its own district council in the east of Polohy Rajon . The village is located about 125 km southeast of the center of the Zaporizhia Oblast and about 30 km northeast of the Polohy district center .

The villages also belong to the district council, which has a total area of ​​17.714 km² and over 3200 inhabitants
