The light railway Tver ( Russian Узкоколейная железная дорога Тверского комбината строительных материалов №2 Uskokoleinaja schelesnaja doroga Twerskowo kombinata Stroitelnih MATERIALOW №2 ) is a light railway building materials factory KSM №2 in the Russian Oblast Tver .

history

The first section of the 9 km long narrow-gauge railway with a gauge of 750 mm was put into operation in 1951. The light railway connects a sand pit near the village of Staraya Konstantinovka with the KSM-№2 brickworks and building materials factory in Tver ( Russian Комбинат строительных материалов №2 ; also КСМ-№2 ). It is used to transport sand from the sand pit to the brick factory.

In the building materials factory, the tracks are provided with an overhead line.
