The diesel railcar ТУ8П ( TU8P ) is in the kambarka engineering works for narrow gauge and wide gauge tracks the szd prepared railway trolley for use on track widths from 750 to 1520 mm, preferably for the use of working personnel. They emerged from the SŽD series ТУ8Г and were created from this machine by changing the superstructures. The draisine is equipped with a lifting ram for changing the direction of travel.

history

From 1988 the motor trolley ТУ8П ( TU8P ) was delivered. First the prototype locomotive with the number 0001 was delivered, from 1989 the vehicles with the numbering from 0002 to 0008 based on the prototype followed. Later the vehicles with the inventory number from 0009 to 0055 were delivered, which were redesigned from the SŽD series ТУ6П , further numbering followed from the number 0056. The draisines with the inventory numbers 0007, 0008, 0056 and 0057 received the Dalnewostochnaja schelesnaja doroga for her Narrow-gauge network in the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk region with a track width of 1067 mm. All other machines from inventory number 0058 were manufactured for the SŽD with a track width of 1520 mm. It is not clear from the literature whether the dimensions of the car body have changed with the wider track width . From inventory number 0084 onwards, the vehicles were given the designation AM1 at the request of the customer . However, this designation must not be confused with that of the SŽD series АМ-1 . Some of the vehicles are equipped with a fault-finding unit on tracks, these machines were given the designation ТУ8ПД ( TU8PD ) and were otherwise equipped like the ТУ8П . The machines in question had the inventory numbers 0070, 0073, 0074, 0079. There was also a series called АМД1 ( AMD1 ), these had the inventory numbers 0093, 0095, 0096, 010X, 0112-0115 and 0121-0129.

construction

Essentially, the vehicles can be described as a combination of the machinery of the SŽD series ТУ8Г with the superstructures of the SŽD series ТУ6П. Since there is only one end driver's cab, the vehicles have a lifting ram to change direction.
