Feldgeding is a district of the Bergkirchen municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Dachau . The church village is located about one kilometer southeast of Bergkirchen.
history
Feldgeding is first mentioned in 842 as "Feldcundingon" in a deed of donation. The place got its name suffix Feld to distinguish it from Günding ( Gundinga ).
On May 1, 1978, the previously independent communities of Eisolzried , Feldgeding, Lauterbach and Oberbachern were dissolved and merged with parts of the dissolved communities of Günding and Kreuzholzhausen to form the new community of Bergkirchen.
