Individual evidence

  1. In the "England and Wales Death Registration Index 1837-2007", Felicitas LeWinter is given June 13, 1911 as the date of birth and 1997 as the year of death in Fulham.
  2. Hans Sittner: Richard Stöhr - man / musician / teacher . Döblinger, Vienna / Munich 1965, p. 84 and 88 ( richardstoehr.com [PDF]).
  3. According to Julie Amacher from an interview with the pianist Barry Douglas.
  4. Northern Whig Antrim, Nov. 22, 1939 issue, p. 2.
  5. In a small newspaper note of March 13, 1946 ("The visit of Princess Elizabeth": Belfast News-Letter Antrim, Northern Ireland, page 3) Belfast is named as her "place of residence". This statement contradicts (apparently) statements by Julie Amacher, who locates LeWinter in London and who occasionally visited her sister Charlotte in Belfast. According to both sources, it is certain that LeWinter offered and conducted intensive piano courses in Belfast in the summer.
