Felicity (Fliss) Abram (born August 16, 1986 in Brisbane , Queensland ) is a former Australian triathlete and junior world champion (2003).

Career

Junior world champion triathlon 2003

In her very first ITU competition in 2003, Abram won the gold medal and was junior world champion. In 2005 she was accepted into the Australian national team and in the following year she was third at the ITU Short Distance World Championship in Lausanne.

At the world championship on the short distance she finished sixth in June 2008. In 2008, after a year overshadowed by bad luck with injuries, she had to accept the decision of the Australian Triathlon Association not to be sent to the Australian team for the Olympic Games in Beijing, although she was ranked first in the ITU.

In the eight years from 2003 to 2010, Felicity Abram took part in 36 ITU competitions and reached 20 top tea places, including 10 medals (3 gold medals). She was trained by Siri Lindley . In August 2017 she declared her active time over.

Felicity Abram's twin brother Geoff is a rugby player.
