Feliks Falk
Feliks Falk (born February 25, 1941 in Stanisławów , Soviet Union ) is a Polish film director , playwright and screenwriter .
Feliks Falk came to film through the visual arts. In 1966 he graduated from the Art School in Warsaw with a degree in painting . In 1967 he presented his first one-act play entitled Elevator and decided to continue studying. In 1973 he graduated from the Łódź Film School with a degree in directing . During his studies he made some remarkable short films . Falk made his first feature-length film in 1975 and at the beginning of his career wrote his scripts with filmmakers such as Agnieszka Holland and Jerzy Domaradzki . Feliks Falk has received awards at national and international festivals. In addition to his feature films , he also made documentaries . For his last film Komornik ( The Bailiff ) he received the main prize at the Polish Film Festival Gdynia and the Polish Film Prize . In 2011 he became an officer of the Order of Polonia Restituta .
