Felipe Ortiz
Felipe Ortiz (born June 26, 1963 in Geneva ) is a former Bolivian racing car driver who also has Swiss citizenship.
Career in motorsport
Felipe Ortiz was active as a touring and sports car driver in the 1999s and 2000s . He had his first races in the Italian Touring Car Championship. This was followed by racing starts in the International Sportscar Racing Series and its successor series, the FIA Sports Car Championship . It wasn't enough for an overall victory in a sports car race; However, four times he was able to finish races in second place. He achieved one of these second places in the 1000 km race at the Nürburgring in 2006 . Partners in Creation CA06 / H were Beppe Gabbiani and Nicolas Minassian .
He started three times in the Le Mans 24-hour race , each time he retired prematurely.
