Felisberto De Deus (born July 9, 1999 ) is an East Timorese athlete who competes in long distance and obstacle courses .

Career

Felisberto De Deus gained his first experience at international championships in 2016 when he finished seventh in the obstacle course at the Junior Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City in 12: 00.83 minutes. In 2017 he finished ninth in the obstacle course at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar in 9: 48.10 minutes. The following year he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time , where he achieved twelfth place in the 5000 meter run in 15: 10.71 minutes and also in the obstacle course with a new national record of 9: 14.07 minutes. In 2019, at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas , he set a new national record in the 10,000-meter run with 30: 52.52 minutes , placing him fifth, while the 5000 -meter race finished fourth after 14: 35.57 minutes.
