Felix Alvarado

Felix Alvarado (* 15. February 1989 in Managua , Nicaragua , when Felix Pedro Alvarado Sanchez ) is a Nicaraguan professional boxer in light flyweight and current world champion of the International Boxing Federation (IBF short).

Career

In 2010 Alvarado made his successful debut with the professionals, he completed a total of nine fights and won all of them.

In 2013 he competed against Kazuto Ioka for the WBA World Championship and suffered his first bankruptcy. In his next fight in the following year he again competed for the world champion belt of the WBA, this time in the flyweight against Juan Carlos Reveco . As in his last fight, Alvarado was defeated by a unanimous decision on points.

At the end of October 2018, Alvarado won the IBF World Championship when he beat Randy Petalcorin through TKo in round 7.
