A year earlier, Felix Plötz founded the book publisher Plötz & Betzholz with the journalist Dennis Betzholz , which specializes in authors from social media (especially YouTube). In 2015, the publishing house was awarded the Frankfurt Book Fair's wildcard for its innovative, digital business model and thus prevailed against 180 other publishing start-ups in the international competition. The publisher has already produced several SPIEGEL bestsellers. The two publishers were nominated for the Young Excellence Award of the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2016 for their work.

Plötz gives lectures on the topics of self-motivation , entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship in management.
