Felix Slováček

Felix Slováček , actually Antonín Slováček (born May 23, 1943 in Zlín ) is a Czech clarinetist, saxophonist, composer and conductor. He has been married to the actress Dagmar Patrasová since 1983 , his daughter René Slováčková is also an actress. He also has a son, Felix (* 1983).

Slováček graduated from the Conservatory in Kroměříž and the Janáček Academy of Musical Arts in Brno . He has performed with Karel Vlach's orchestra , as well as with Gustav Brom's orchestra , the Rias Radio Bigband , the DR Big Band in Copenhagen and the WDR Big Band . Slováček was a soloist in Ladislav Štaidl's orchestra from 1969 to 1986 . Today he has his own big band. His recordings sold more than two million times.
