Felix Thönnessen (born July 20, 1980 in Viersen ) is a German business economist and lecturer , speaker and keynote speaker on business start-ups , digitization and marketing . He also works as an author , entrepreneur and investor .

As a coach, Thönnessen advised the candidates of the first 4 seasons of the VOX founder show “ Die Höhle der Löwen ” and wrote the book for the show. Since 2018 it is in “Payday! A suitcase full of opportunities ”in front of the camera on the private broadcaster RTL .

Career

Thönnessen studied "International Marketing" at Fontys University of Applied Science in Venlo and graduated in 2005. He then gave several lectures at various teaching institutes, including as a lecturer at the IST-Studieninstitut in Munich and as a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland . Since 2014 he has been giving workshops on business start-ups at the University of Siegen .

In 2014 he started as a consultant for the candidates in the VOX founder show “Die Höhle der Löwen” and in 2015 published his first book “Successfully Founding Companies”.

In 2016 he founded the investment company Thoennessen Ventures GmbH, which enables participation in startups. He is an investor in the startups Placing You UG and immoterminal GmbH . A stake in Avance Aire UG has since been sold due to financial losses. In addition, Thönnessen has been writing the start-up column "Starting Shot" for the Rheinische Post since 2016 .

Since 2017 he has been a columnist for Startup Valley magazine on business start-ups. Felix Thönnessen also writes as an expert for Handelsblatt , Focus and Wirtschaftswoche .

Thönnessen has been on RTL since 2018 on “Payday! A suitcase full of opportunities ”. In the same year, the Entrepreneur University voted into the TOP 50 of all speakers in Germany.
