Fellype Gabriel de Melo e Silva , better known as Fellype Gabriel (born December 6, 1985 in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil ) is a Brazilian football player.

Career

The 1.76 meter tall midfielder began his career in 2005 with Flamengo Rio de Janeiro , where he was under contract for four years. In his first year at the club, he played ten league games and scored two goals. He also took part in 29 games of the Brasileirão , of which he hit two passes in the goal, as well as he completed three games of the Copa do Brasil (CdB), of which he was able to score in the goal. In the next year he completed seven league games, one of which he scored into goal and was able to score once. He also took part in seven goalless games of the Brasileirão and three goalless games of the CdB. From 2007 to 2008 he signed three loan contracts, each of which he signed for one season. In his first year he stood for the club Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte , where he played two league games. In the 2007/08 season he was under contract for the Portuguese club Nacional Funchal , where he played 14 games at Brasileirão and was able to promote two passes into the goal. His last loan club so far was the Portuguesa , where he took part in 20 games of the Brasileirão on loan and scored three goals. After a year on loan, he signed a one-season contract, played 17 league games and scored twice. He also took part in 31 games of the Brasileirão, of which he scored nine goals.

In 2010, the midfielder moved to the Japanese club Kashima Antlers , with which he was for a two-year contract, but did not take part in any league games. He also played 31 games in the Kaiser Cup , two of which he promoted into goal. He also took part in a goalless game of the J. League Cup . In the second and last year he played 16 games in the Kaiser Cup and scored twice in the goal. His next stop was the Botafogo club , where he was under contract for two years. He took part in eleven league games in 2011, scoring five goals. He also played 32 games in the Brasileirão and promoted three passes into the goal. He also completed three goalless games of the CdB and one goalless game of Conmebols . In the second year he took part in 15 league games and shot four passes into the goal, as well as two games of the CdB, of which he hit one in the goal.

He has been under contract with the Saudi Arabian association al-Sharjah since 2013 . In 2005 he played five goalless games in the Brazilian national soccer team (U20) .
