The rock scorpionfish ( Dracocephalum rupestre ) is a species of scorpionfish ( Dracocephalum ) in the mint family (Lamiaceae).

description

The rock dragon's head is a perennial , herbaceous plant that reaches heights of between 15 and 40 (rarely up to 60) centimeters. The stem of the central stem leaves is 2 to 6 inches long. The base leaf blade is triangular-ovate. The crown is 35 to 40 millimeters long.

The flowering period extends from July to September.

distribution

The species occurs in western China on alpine grasslands and forest clearings at altitudes of 700 to 3100 meters.

use

The rock scorpionfish is rarely used as an ornamental plant for rock gardens.
