The Felton Head is a towering, dark brown headland with a flattened summit crown on the Crown Prince Olav Coast in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . With its non-iced seaward flank, it lies 7 km east of Harrop Island on the shores of Casey Bay .
Aerial photographs taken in 1956 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions were used to map the headland. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named them after Sergeant Kevin Vincent Felton (1929-1984) of the Royal Australian Air Force , who worked as a machinist at Mawson Station in 1960 .
