The Casey Bay ( English Casey Bay ) is a large bay on the Crown Prince Olav coast of the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It lies between the Tange Promontory and the Sakellari Peninsula .
It was mapped using aerial photographs taken in 1956 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE). The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named them in 1958 after the Australian politician Richard Casey, Baron Casey (1890-1976), from 1951 to 1960 Australian Foreign Minister.
