Harrop Island is a small island off the Crown Prince Olav coast of the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It is 5 km northwest of Felton Head .

Aerial photographs taken in 1956 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions were used to map them. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named them after James Ronald Harrop (1933–1999), weather observer at Wilkes Station in 1960.
