The Sakellari Peninsula ( Russian Полуостров Закеллари ) is a large and ice-covered peninsula on the coast of the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It is located immediately west of the Amundsen Bay .
The region around the peninsula was photographed between 1956 and 1957 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions and in 1957 during a Soviet Antarctic expedition. Participants of the Soviet research trip named her after N. A. Sakellari, Soviet scientist and navigator.
