Dahl took part in the NOR Freeski Cup in the 2014/15 season and came second twice and first once. At the Junior World Championships 2015 in Chiesa in Valmalenco , he achieved 48th place in slopestyle. He made his debut in the Freestyle Skiing World Cup in January 2017 in Font Romeu , which he finished in 59th place in slopestyle. The following month he won in slopestyle at the Nor Freeski Cup in Trysil and took third place in slopestyle in Hovden . At the end of March 2017 he achieved his first podium in the World Cup with third place in Big Air in Voss . After four placings outside the top ten in the World Cup at the beginning of the 2017/18 season, he finished second in Slopestyle at the World Cup in Font Romeu and Snowmass . This was followed by third place in Silvaplana and by the end of the season he reached 16th place in the overall World Cup and second place in the Slopestyle World Cup. At the Winter X Games 2018 he came 14th in Slopestyle and at the Olympic Winter Games 2018 in Pyeongchang he came eighth in Slopestyle. In May 2018 he came 14th in Big Air at the X-Games Norway in Fornebu .
