Ferdinand Dinstl

Ferdinand Dinstl (born February 8, 1788 in Feuersbrunn ; † July 18, 1873 in Krems an der Donau ) was an Austrian lawyer, mayor of Krems and a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly .

Life

Ferdinand Dinstl studied law in Vienna from 1805 to 1810 , where he received his doctorate in 1810. Then he was employed as an auscultant at the magistrate in Vienna until 1816 . He then worked as a lawyer until 1850 and then as a notary until his death .

From February 9th to April 30th, 1849 Dinstl was a member of parliament for the constituency of Austria ob der Enns and Salzburg (Krems) in Frankfurt's Paulskirche parliament . He remained non-attached, but voted with the right and was against the election of Friedrich Wilhelm IV as German Emperor. He succeeded Franz Drinkwelder in his mandate .

In 1848 and 1849 he was a member of the lower Austrian class of ordinances . From 1850 to 1861 he was mayor of Krems. In 1856 he founded a savings bank there . From 1861 to 1878 he was a member of the Krems municipal committee. He also belonged to the Constitutional Progress Association in Krems.

His father was the farmer Ferdinand Dünstl, his mother Maria-Anna Luißkandlerin. His son Ferdinand Adam Dinstl jun. followed him in 1861 as mayor of Krems.
