Ferdinand Freiherr von Reitzenstein
Ferdinand Freiherr von Reitzenstein (born September 24, 1876 in Schwarzenstein (Schwarzenbach am Wald) , district of the city of Schwarzenbach am Wald , † August 30, 1929 in Arnsdorf ) was a German sexologist .
Life
Ferdinand Freiherr von Reitzenstein worked at the Berlin Ethnographic Museum and the German Hygiene Museum in Dresden. From 1923 he headed the anthropological - ethnological collection of the Institute for Sexology in Berlin founded by Magnus Hirschfeld .
He was editor of the journal Gender and Society .
Reitzenstein died in the Saxon state sanatorium and nursing home in Arnsdorf .
