Ferdinand Kaup

Ferdinand Kaup (born 1940 ) is an Austrian actor and speech educator .

Life

After his acting training, he had individual role contracts and annual engagements in Munich, Darmstadt, Landshut, at the Stadttheater Magdeburg and the Dresden State Theater , at the Salzburg Festival in 1969, from 1970 on several times at the Volkstheater (since 1971) and at the Theater in der Josefstadt , furthermore in Bregenz, Innsbruck, Baden-Baden and on theater tours. Kaup worked with well-known directors, including Leopold Lindtberg , Oscar Fritz Schuh , Fritz Kortner , Dietrich Haugk , Gustav Manker , Walter Davy , Hans Jaray and Édouard Molinaro . He also appeared in some television productions.

Since 1980 he has worked as a rhetoric trainer for large corporations, at the Conservatory of the City of Vienna , as well as for priestly and priestly candidates.

His daughter is the Vienna City Councilor for Culture, Veronica Kaup-Hasler .
