Ferdinand Mühlbacher
Ferdinand Mühlbacher (born December 3, 1948 in Großgmain near Salzburg ) is an Austrian surgeon .
Life
His areas of work included clinical studies in the areas of organ preservation, everolimus , sirolimus and zolendronate.
He was head of the University Clinic for Surgery at the Medical University of Vienna. He was succeeded in this position in 2014 by Michael Gnant , whose successor is currently (2020) Walter Klepetko .
