Ferekalsi Debessay
Ferekalsi Abrha Debessay (born January 10, 1983 ) is an Eritrean road cyclist.
Ferekalsi Debessay was once third and once second on the Tour of Eritrea in 2007. At the All-Africa Games in Algiers , he won the silver medal in the road race behind the South African Daryl Impey . In the next year he was again stage runner-up in the Tour of Eritrea and finished third in the overall standings. In 2009 Debessay won two stages in the Tour of Egypt , including an individual time trial . In 2011 he became the Eritrean road racing champion. In 2011 and 2012 he was the African team time trial champion . At the South African Road Cycling Championships in 2012 , he finished eighth in the road race. In the one stage La Tropicale Amissa Bongo Ondimba he won one stage in 2014.
