Ferenc Vozar (Hungarian Vozár) (born April 19, 1945 in Budapest , Hungary ; † February 15, 1999 in Denzlingen ) was a German ice hockey player of Hungarian origin.

Vozar emigrated from Hungary to Germany in the early 1970s. First he played for the Oberstdorf / Sonthofen syndicate in the major league before moving to the Berlin ice skating club. With this he made it to the Bundesliga .

Between 1977 and 1980 he played at ERC Freiburg and in 1981 moved to Hamburger SV , where he was active for three years. At the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria, he helped the German national ice hockey team win the bronze medal by scoring two goals.

For this achievement he was awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf - together with the German ice hockey team.

After finishing his active career, Vozar started a coaching career for junior teams. In addition, from the mid-1980s he was the association coach of the Baden-Württemberg ice hockey association. He was later inducted into the Hall of Fame of German ice hockey .

Vozar's sons Patrick and Robert and his daughter Alexandra are also ice hockey players in Freiburg and Esslingen. His brother Tibor Vozar , also a German national player, earned his living as an ice hockey coach.
