Ferienfieber was a television program for children that was run as a joint holiday program by ARD and ZDF between 1994 and 1999 during the Easter and summer holidays and in the winter of 1995/1996 also during the Christmas holidays.

As a continuation of the ZDF holiday program shown from 1979 to 1989, the program was broadcast on ZDF for the first time on July 4, 1994 and alternated between the first and ZDF on working days from 9:03 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. In 1997 another broadcast was added at 9:03 a.m. on KiKA . From 1998 holiday fever was only shown on ZDF in the morning and on KiKA in the afternoon at 2:05 p.m.

Ferienfieber was moderated by Antje Pieper (1994–1995), Gregor Steinbrenner (1994–1995), Juri Tetzlaff (1995–1999), Eva Habermann (1995), Anke Kortemeier (1995–1997) and Singa Gätgens (1996–1997). In 1997 the doll Helle H. was added.

During the holiday program, series and films were broadcast, holiday tips and the holiday weather were presented, birthday greetings were sent and various prominent guests were invited. Were sent u. a. the films and series Wickie and the strong men , Tintin , Ocean Girl , Alfred J. Kwak , Pippi Longstocking , Tabaluga , attention! Top secret! and Benjamin Blümchen .

The program was marked with a sun logo in summer, a snowman in winter and an Easter egg at Easter.
