Fernand Bachmann
Fernand Alphonse Bachmann (born June 16, 1886 in Remiremont , † May 22, 1965 in Brienon-sur-Armançon ) was a French racing car driver and the brother of Raoul Bachmann .
Career
Fernand Bachmann was one of the motorsport pioneers who competed in the first Le Mans 24-hour race in racing history in 1923 . He shared a factory Henard & Walcker Tourisme with Raymond Glanzmann and finished seventh overall. A year later he was out of action due to an accident. He also competed in the 1927 Spa-Francorchamps 24-hour race , where he finished ninth overall.
