Fernando Cañarte , full name Nelson Fernando Cañarte Wrobbel , (born August 19, 1979 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
The 1.80 meter tall midfielder Cañarte started his career in 2000 with Danubio FC . In 2001 he was on loan for Centro Atlético Fénix in the first half of the year . He also spent the rest of the year on loan from Villa Española . After returning to Danubio, he was a member of the Montevidean squad in 2002. He then joined the Club Atlético Cerro , whose player he was in 2003. In the 2004 season he played nine games (no goal) in the Primera División for the Montevideo Wanderers . In September 2004 he returned to Cerro and ran across seasons in at least 25 first division matches. He scored at least five hits. In early 2007 he was signed by Rocha FC , for whom he played 13 games (no goal) in the top Uruguayan division that year. In 2008 he was again a member of the Villa Españolas squad. In the Apertura 2008 there are nine premier league appearances without personal scoring for him. In 2009 he continued his career at the second division club Sportivo Cerrito . From August 2009 to the end of January 2010 he was a player for the Bolivian club Jorge Wilstermann . In the Clausura 2010 followed an engagement at Juventud in Las Piedras , where he was used at least once (no goal) in the Segunda División . In mid-2010 he moved within the league to Durazno FC . In the 2010/11 season he completed ten second division games and scored three goals for the club in the interior of the department of the same name . In early February 2012, he joined the Club Atlético Torque and rose with the team from the Segunda B Amateur in the second Uruguayan professional league. He contributed to this with a goal in two missions. He was also a member of the squad in the subsequent Apertura in 2012. Since the beginning of 2013, Cerrito has been his employer again. Since the beginning of September 2013, he has been part of the Villa Españolas squad for the third time in his career. He rose with the club in the 2013/14 season from the Segunda División Amateur to the Segunda División. There he ran 34 times in the league in the following two seasons and scored ten goals. In the interim season of 2016, when the year-long European system was switched back to year-bound seasons, he was promoted to the Primera Division. During the 2016 season he was used twice (no goal) in the top Uruguayan league.
