Fernando Alejandro Larrazábal Bretón (born August 11, 1962 in Oaxaca ) is a Mexican politician. Larrazábal is a member of the Partido Acción Nacional . From 2009 to 2012 he was Presidente municipal des Municipio Monterrey , the municipality around the megacity of Monterrey in the state of Nuevo León . Before that, from 2000 to 2003, Larrazábal was Presidente municipal des Municipio San Nicolás de los Garza , and between 2006 and 2009 a member of the Congress of Nuevo León.

He holds a degree in civil engineering from the ITESM Monterrey campus .

At the beginning of September 2011 a video was published in which his brother Manuel Jonás Larrazábal can be seen accepting a large amount of money in a casino. Manuel Jonás Larrazábal was arrested on September 1 and placed under house arrest without charge. In early November, the Casino Red Company withdrew the complaint and he was released without charge.

Fernando Larrazabal is married and has three daughters.
