The Fernette Peak is a 2,700 m high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Maud Mountains it rises from the south-central part of the Roberts massif .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after Gregory L. Fernette (* 1949), field research assistant of the United States Antarctic Research Program from 1968 to 1969.
