The telecommunications tower Frankfurt (Oder) is a 103 m high telecommunications tower belonging to Deutsche Telekom AG in the south of Frankfurt on the Oder . The reinforced concrete tower, which is not accessible to the public, has asymmetrically arranged antenna platforms. history

The tower was built as a directional radio tower for the Deutsche Post between 1959 and 1961. The drafts come from Klaus Thimm, Karl-Heinrich Benkert was responsible for the statics. It was built from reinforced concrete in sliding formwork. The total height at that time was 85.75 meters, since the installation of larger antennas after the fall of the Wall, its total height has been 103 meters.

The fourteen floors used to house the work and living rooms of Deutsche Post's technical staff. Today the tower houses amateur radio facilities for television and radio.
