Telecommunications tower Schwerte

The Schwerte telecommunications tower is a 158 meter high telecommunications tower in the Schwerter Wald, not accessible to the public . It was built from 1977 to 1978 and is located in the city of Schwerter, east of the Sommerberg district of Dortmund . Structurally, it is a type tower of type FMT 13.

In addition to the non-public directional radio , the transmitter is also used to broadcast VHF signals for the city of Dortmund and the surrounding area.
