The FS 14600 series from the Ferus Smit shipyard in Leer was built from 2009 to 2012 for the Dutch shipping company Koninklijke Wagenborg from Delfzijl. The lead ship of the series was named Fivelborg laid down on, but even in honor of the Dutch Queen Beatrix of their August 24, 2009 in the name of Beatrix christened. The final part is the Fuldaborg , which was launched on April 11, 2012. Originally nine ships of the type had been ordered, but the order was reduced to six units. To compensate, however, two larger new buildings were ordered.

The ships are designed as ice - reinforced multi-purpose dry cargo ships. They have superstructures arranged aft and two box-shaped holds . The ship type can be used in container transport , for general cargo, bulk cargo or smaller project cargoes. The 50.40 meter and 61.60 meter long, 14.34 meter wide and 11.47 meter deep holds have a grain volume of 17,418 m³. Movable bulkheads mean that the cargo space can be divided into smaller compartments or equipped with an intermediate deck. The container capacity is 475 TEU .
The ships are powered by a Wärtsilä nine-cylinder two - stroke diesel engine of the type 9L32C with an output of 4500 kW and an electric motor with an output of 737 kW. The motors enable a speed of 14 knots with a maximum of 750 revolutions per minute. There are also three auxiliary diesels and an emergency diesel generator available.
