Fighter was an American AOR band.

style

The band strikes itself into the genre " Christian Rock ". This can also be found on the relevant AOR pages on the Internet. The genres pop rock , classic rock and melodic rock are also suitable .

The biblical scholar and New Testament scholar Mark Allan Powell compared the band and their music in his work Encyclopedia of Contemporary Christian Music (Hendrickson, 2000) with that of then huffs Formation White Heart and Petra , but admits that it has not been as successful as the said two.

The debut album The Waiting is an above-average strong AOR album, in the style of REO Speedwagon and Toto . Pop-oriented, catchy, harmonic-melodic pieces with a certain "rock power" are sung alternately, as well as in a duet, by Amy Wolter and Sean Murphy.

The CD The Waiting changes hands on Amazon at prices over 70 euros; new CDs fetch prices over 100 euros. The same goes for the second CD Bang the Drum . The CDs are mostly only available from the United States or Great Britain. (As of May 2016)
