The Roman Catholic branch church Putzing is located at the northwest end of Putzing in the municipality of Großebersdorf in the Mistelbach district in Lower Austria . It is dedicated to the feast of the Marriage of Mary and, as a branch church of the Großebersdorf parish, belongs to the Wolkersdorf deanery in the vicariate Unter dem Manhartsberg of the Archdiocese of Vienna . The building is a listed building .

The church was built in 1761.

Building description

The church is a simple hall building with a steeple on the east side. This is crowned by a pyramid roof. The west facade ends at the top in a curved gable over an eaves cornice .

The walls inside are made up of pilaster strips . The ceiling is flat and embedded in a stucco frame. The ground floor of the tower, in which the sacristy is located, is vaulted with a needle cap .

The altar sheet of the high altar shows the marriage of Joseph and Mary on a baroque oil painting. Other oil paintings show Saints Margaretha and Aloysius from the third quarter of the 18th century. In the church there are also figures of Saints Sebastian and Rochus from the second half of the 18th century.
