The small church of St. Johannes is a Roman Catholic branch church of the parish of St. Josef in the municipality of Steindorf am Ossiacher See and belongs to the dean's office in Feldkirchen in Carinthia . It is dedicated to John the Baptist .

Building

The church with a turret has a retracted Gothic choir with a five-eighth end . The nave and porch were renewed after a fire in 1893.

Facility

The furnishings date from the second half of the 19th century. The image of the neo-baroque altar shows a Mary with a rosary . On the north wall of the choir hangs a representation of the Last Supper , on the north wall of the nave there is a picture of the baptism of Jesus .
