history

The original castle chapel from the lost Stadlkirchen moated castle was mentioned in a document in 1263.

architecture

The square cross-ribbed choir from the 14th century connects to the north nave. The two-aisled, three-bay nave of a hall church was rebuilt in the fourth quarter of the 16th century while retaining the northern nave wall of the previous building. The nave has round pillars. The ridges of the cross vault are emphasized by stucco ribbons in the style of the Renaissance . The three-axis west gallery is arched under a ridge. The tower south of the choir with the original pointed helmet with coupled round-arched sound windows is from the end of the 16th century.

Furnishing

The decor is neo-Gothic. Above the front arch is a baroque crucifixion group . The epitaph of Georg von Neuhaus, who died in 1593, shows a relief of the Adoration of the Kings and a remarkable death shield in the Renaissance style.
