Filip Florian

Filip Florian (born May 16, 1968 in Bucharest ) is a Romanian writer.

Life

Filip Florian studied geology and geophysics. He worked as a journalist for Cuvintul magazine , from 1992 to 1995 for Radio Free Europe (RFE) and from 1995 to 1999 as a correspondent for Deutsche Welle .

He spent five years in the Carpathian mountain town of Sinaia , where he wrote his first novel Degete mici . With his brother Matei, he wrote the Băiuțeii youth memories in 2006 .

In 2010 Florian participated in the Berlin International Literature Festival .
