Benny Fine (born March 19, 1981 ) and Rafi Fine (born June 9, 1983 ), known as the Fine Brothers , are web video producers , best known for their React video series and their Internet sitcom MyMusic on YouTube .

Private

The brothers grew up in an Orthodox Jewish family in Brooklyn , later in Sullivan County , New York . Hoping to make their breakthrough in Hollywood , they submitted a live action film to film festivals in 2000 , with which they won the Young Filmmaker Award . In 2004 they decided to use the Internet as the platform for their productions, first on their own website, and since 2007 on YouTube.

YouTube

The Fine Brothers have been publishing their productions since 2004, first on their own website, and from 2007 on the YouTube channel TheFineBros . Its main channel now has over 15 million subscribers, making it 39th worldwide in terms of subscribers (as of July 2017). The brothers joined Maker Studios in 2009, but left in 2010 due to disagreements. In December 2013 they left Revision3 and joined fullscreen.

In January 2016, the brothers registered the term react (German: to respond ) - a term widely used in the YouTube scene for videos that show reactions to videos by other artists - as a word mark . This resulted in the deletion of videos by other users who had used the term for conceptually similar videos. In addition to causing great outrage, the two recorded the loss of several hundred thousand subscribers. On February 1, 2016, they decided to withdraw brand protection for react .

Her first feature film, F * &% the Prom , was released as video-on-demand in December 2017 . Benny and Rafi Fine wrote the script; Directed by Benny Fine.
