location

It is located on the north side of the Quedlinburger Schlossberg in the Westendorf district opposite the fork in the streets Finkenherd and Gildschaft .

Architecture and history

The complex was built around 1500 as a Freihof . Around 1700 the distinctive half-timbered house received its current window frame, at the same time renovations were carried out, which, however, changed the appearance only slightly. There is a coat of arms on the profiled courtyard gate. The door leaves are lavishly designed in the neo-Gothic style.

Around 1980 both the courtyard side and the interior of the building were extensively renovated.
