Finn Halvorsen (born February 21, 1947 in Våler , Hedmark ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper .

Career

Halvorsen, who started for the club Våler IL , made his international debut at the Four Hills Tournament 1974/75 . He achieved his best individual result of his career with fourth place in the opening competition on the Schattenbergschanze in Oberstdorf . He couldn't repeat this at any time. In Garmisch-Partenkirchen , he was ranked 33, before he reached places 28 and 18 in Innsbruck and Bischofshofen . At the end of the tour he came in 16th place. At the following Four Hills Tournament 1975/76he could not repeat any of the performances. The best result was rank 23 in Bischofshofen. He finished the tour in 28th place overall.

At the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, the now 28-year-old competed in both individual competitions and reached rank 37 on the normal hill and 35 on the large hill.
