The Fion is a river in France that runs in the Marne department in the Grand Est region . It rises on the south-western outskirts of Bassu , initially drains in a south-westerly direction, then swings north-west to west and flows into the Marne as a right tributary after 21 kilometers near Mutigny in the municipality of La Chaussée-sur- Marne . In the mouth region of the Fion crosses the extending parallel to the Marne canal latéral à la Marne (dt .: Marne-side channel ), or can be used on an adjustable supply channel also to its water doping.
