The Fisher Nunatak is a rocky nunatak in the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 21 km west of Mount Crawford in the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains .
He was discovered by the so-called Marie Byrd Land Traverse Party , a team mainly to explore Marie Byrd Land between 1957 and 1958. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1960 after Diana D. Fisher, head of the glaciological staff of the US American program for the International Geophysical Year from 1956 to 1959.
