The Fitzgerald Glacier is a valley glacier on the Borchgrevink coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It flows from the ice cascades on the south and west slopes of Mount Murchison in an easterly direction to Lady Newnes Bay . In its estuary, it meets the ice masses of the Icebreaker Glacier .
The glacier was explored by participants in the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1958–1959). The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him after EB Fitzgerald, deputy head of this expedition.
