Fizalia Island (English; Bulgarian остров Физалия ostrow Fisalija ) is a rocky, mostly icy, southeast-northwest orientation 0.33 km long and 0.18 km wide island in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 4.2 km southwest of Cape Neumayer and 14.55 km north of Awl Point off the northeast coast of Trinity Island .
British scientists mapped them in 1978. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named them on 2018 after the Bulgarian trawler Fisalija , who was fishing in the waters around South Georgia from December 1978 to May 1979 under Captain Ivan Krastanov .
