Fyodor Aleksandrovich Vasiliev ( Russian Фёдор Александрович Васильев , scientific. Transliteration Fedor Alexandrovič Vasil'ev ; born February 10, jul. / 22. February 1850 greg. In Gatchina , † September 24 jul. / 6. October 1873 greg. In Yalta , Crimea ) was a Russian painter . His atmospheric landscape paintings are among the most important of Russian landscape painting in the 19th century . Vasilyev died of tuberculosis at the age of 23 .
